We have lots of different events happening at The Tap throughout March including our Easter Beer Festival.

Thursday 29th March at 12 Noon until Monday 2nd April at 8PM.  There will be 18 cask ales from various breweries, 8 Keg Beers, 6 rotating still ciders and the usual pork pies and Ian’s unfeasibly large sausage.

Every Tuesday is Quiz night – starting at 8pm with the picture quiz then the questions start at 8.30pm. Teams from 1 to 6 people with the winning team getting 6 beer tokens which are valid for 1 week. There is also a Jackpot where there is a chance of winning up to £100.

Wednesday 21st is ‘Girl Talk’ an evening when the girls can come in and catch up with friends while taking advantage of a special offer.  For March there will be a special on a large Tanqueray and tonic for a mere £5.00.

Thursday 1st  March is our second Games Night where you are invited to play the games we have available – or bring one of your own to while away the evening.

Thursday 8th March is ‘Well Spoken’.  You are invited to bring a piece of work to read or you can read something by your favourite author/poet.  You can also just sit and listen while enjoying a pint.

Thursday 15th March is ‘Stammtisch’ which is an evening of German Conversation. Come along and join the group speaking German or again you can just listen.

Book Club is a week early due to our Beer Festival so will be on Thursday 22nd March.  The books for the March discussion are ‘The Death House’ by Sarah Pinborough and ‘The very thought of you’ by Rosie Alison.  Read either or both books then attend the Book Club to discuss and make out of 10.

Every Friday is ‘Cheeky Drinkers Club’. Start your weekend off well with a cheeky pint with friends.

Saturday 17th March is ‘Uke Can Do It’ which is our Ukulele Group. Bring your Uke and join in the fun playing and singing some popular songs and definitely Christmas Songs.  Starting at around 1.30pm until 5pm-ish.

There will be a bijou Open Folk Session on Saturday 31st due to the beer festival and a folk event happening in Sheffield.  However if you still want to come along and sing/play you are very welcome.  Starting around 1pm and finishing at 5pm-ish.

Sunday 11th March we have Music in The Upper Room with George Borowski and Mora.   Tickets for this event are £10 adv £12 on the door.  They are available from the bar and from We Got Tickets.

Every Sunday we are open from 12 Noon until 5pm and we have a traditional Sunday buffet with Pork Pie, Cheese, Bread and Dripping and pickled onions.  This is complementary for our Sunday customers.
